Former New York Congressman, Anthony Weiner, pleaded guilty on Friday for sending sexual texts to a minor. He was charged after an investigation for sexting a 15-year-old girl last year.

Weiner will be listed as a sex offender and may face years in prison. A part of his plea deal included his agreement of not appealing any sentence of 27 months or less.

Apology

“I have a sickness, but I do not have an excuse,” he said.

Based on the girl, Weiner, then 51, kept an ongoing sexual conversation with her for several months in which he inquired her to take off her clothes as well as sending her semi clothed pictures of himself.

The former congressman didn’t deny sending such texts to her but he claimed that he was a victim of a “hoax.”

Not The First Time

In 2011, Congressman at the time, he tweeted a picture of his boxer-clad erection by mistake. Even though he lied and said he was hacked, he later admitted that he was sending it to a woman, who wasn’t his wife.

The 2011’ tweet was the start of a sexual scandal for Weiner whilst it ruined his political career.

Weiner never stopped sending sexual texts to women even after he gave his word to his family and his supporters that he would stop sexting.

That is not all as the former congressman went even further with the matter when he sent scandalous pictures of himself on bed last year while his son is sitting beside him and was crystal clear in the photo.

However, his current incident is more dangerous as it includes a minor which will lead him to face criminal charges.
