– Game 1 of the AL Division Series will be kicked off by Astros hurler Justin Verlander against Boston’s Chris Sale on Thursday. Dallas’s Keuchel is set to start in the second game. In a tactical move by John Farrell the Red Sox manager, Drew Pomeranz will be set up against Keuchel; the manager will observe the first two games before naming his Game 3 starter.

– The Met’s General manager Sandy Anderson says Dan Warthen won’t be back as the Met’s pitching coach as he has been an offered another position in the organization but is yet to respond.


– Manchester United’s midfielder Paul Pogba allays injury fears after a Viral Video of him completing a “Bruce Style Training’ was posted to his personal Instagram Page. Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho speculates that Paul Pogba could be out a further six weeks on the sidelines.

– Liverpool is set to lose Phillipe Coutinho in January as Barcelona makes a renewed bid of £97m for the in-form midfielder. Phillipe Coutinho is rumored to be plotting to force an exit in January from Liverpool, as his patience with the Reds has apparently run out.

– Tony Bellew and David Haye are set for a heavyweight boxing rematch after Haye threw in the Towel in their previous match following a torn Achilles tendon. The heavyweight rematch is set to take place December 17.
