Big Brother Alexis recently gave growing up advice to Reiss Nelson, a Starlet at Arsenal.
Reiss Nelson broke into the Arsenal first team at a relatively young age, Nelson who is now 17 has been rated by football critics as one of the most promising youngsters England has to offer.
At Arsenal, Nelson has been moved around in a number of positions by the club’s manager Arsene Wenger. This has prompted his teammate Alexis Sanchez to hail the player as a “genuine talent”.
However, Alexis who recently crashed out at Chile’s World Cup qualifiers has urged Nelson to take charge and become the brightest player of the pack, if he wants his dreams to come to fruition.
Prior to the clash on Tuesday night clash with Norwich City in the Carabao Cup, Alexis urged Reiss to acquire requisite knowledge from Arsenal’s senior players.
A Level Playing Field
Alexis noted that Arsene Wenger was providing a level playing field for the Starlet, by featuring him in high caliber games; however, the Onus is now on him to elevate his Arsenal career.
He advised Nelson to imbibe precision training in his daily routine if Nelson wants to attain the top level he has been working for.
Arsene Wenger confirmed that the club’s mantra is to give young players opportunities to excel, citing the performances of Edward Nketiah, who came on in the second half and scored two goals to advance Arsenal into the next round.
In a bid to challenge Nelson, Alexis reiterated that the starlet needs to improve his game if he wants to excel in his career.
