Shocked Little Mix fans have taken to Twitter to blast their music chiefs after eagle-eyed viewers spotted that their figures appear to have been made to look skinnier in their latest video.

Viewers said that stripes in the background of the video were clearly distorted, showing that some Photoshop trickery had gone on. While the band members – Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock – already have enviable figures, it appeared that they had been slimmed down further in the video because lines in the background no longer matched up.

The editing appeared to have taken place particularly in the area around Jesy’s waist and her thighs. One fan said that they loved the girls and did not think anyone should edit them to look any thinner. Meanwhile, another sent a message out to Jesy, saying she was perfect just the way she was and did not need to look any skinnier.

Confidence is sexy

Jesy has previously spoken out about being confident in her own skin, saying that she feels that curves are fashionable at the moment, and that she did not mind if she put on a pound or two. She said that bodies of every shape and size should be celebrated. The 25 year old said that there was nothing sexier than body confidence.

Perrie has also come in for criticism for writhing around with a male dancer during the video, in what is being seen as a deliberate move to get back at her former fiance Zayn Malik, who is now in a serious relationship with super model Gigi Hadid.

Currently, Little Mix are the most successful girl band on the planet. The girls’ fourth album, Glory Days, has been at number one in the charts for five weeks, giving them similar success to that enjoyed by the Spice Girls two decades ago.
