Melania Trump is trying to work on and promote her image as the first lady of the United States, she is speaking up.
After President Donald Trump got involved in yet another Twitter scandal that left him attacking at Morning Joe co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski. Mrs trump tended to stay be her husband’s side and support him.
Trump mocked Brzezinski’s looks, calling him a “bleeding” face from an alleged “face-lift” during their New Year’s encounter at Mar-a-Lago.
“I heard poorly rated @Morning_Joe speaks badly of me (don’t watch anymore). Then how come low I.Q. Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe, came…,” Trump tweeted. “..to Mar-a-Lago 3 nights in a row around New Year’s Eve, and insisted on joining me. She was bleeding badly from a face-lift. I said no!”
The first lady’s spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham, said: “As the first lady has stated publicly, when her husband gets attacked, he will punch back 10 times harder.”
Trump’s inappropriate and bitter jabs gave a rise to controversy and made him exposed to attacks even from Republicans. However, on Saturday morning Trump took to Twitter, writing: “Crazy Joe Scarborough and dumb as a rock Mika are not bad people, but their low rated show is dominated by their NBC bosses. Too bad!”
Mrs Trump promised to create a platform against cyber-bullying. Grisham said Melania Trump was “continuing to be thoughtful about her platform.”
InStyle also issued an interview with Brzezinski on Friday, where she said that she knew Melania personally. However, both have not spoken for months.
“Melania’s got the worst job in the country and I don’t think she wants do it a lot longer.” she said. “I think she will do it for as long as she has to for her son (11-year-old Barron), and that’s it.”
Melania’s press office responded with a statement to the Daily Mail on Saturday. “It is sad when people try to further their own agenda by commenting on me and my family, especially when they don’t know me.” Melania said.
