Manchester United forward, Rashford has expressed his delight at the fact that the club is chasing the signature of Alvaro Morata.

Alvaro Morata has expressed his intention to leave the club after playing back up to Karim Benzema all season, playing only 14 league games all season for Real Madrid.
This has led to speculations and interest from other clubs as it is believed that he is not an integral part of Zinedine Zidane’s team and it was highly reported that Ac Milan has agreed on personal terms with the Player.

Rashford in a chat with Sky Sports News stated that Manchester United needs to bring in the best players so as to make a push for more trophies next season after he was asked about Alvaro Morata.

“Man United is a big player and it is expected that we will attract the best players and that’s what we are aiming for.”

“It’s important that we sign players that can help us win trophies because that’s the main aim. So we need to bring in great players. The competition is getting harder every day and we need to do better”.

Influence of Rooney and Zlatan

Zlatan also revealed how influential both Wayne Rooney and Zlatan Ibrahimovic have in his development. Stating that both players have made him better because he learns from them every day.

“Their style of play, mentality and insight in games, is one thing that I would love to adopt, which will make me better.”

“I work with them on a daily basis and I don’t take those moments for granted in any way. You can never stop learning from this kind of players and I’m grateful that I have a chance to do that.”
